To Our Valued Clients,
Active Photographic Update on COVID-19
At Active Photographic, the health and safety of our clients and colleagues is of paramount importance. Like many businesses in the UK, we are closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and following the advice provided by the UK's health authorities.
We also wanted to update you on the steps that we are taking to ensure we are protecting the Active Photographic team whilst still fulfilling the needs of clients. We can confirm that we have had zero cases of Coronavirus among the staff at Active Photographic nor has anyone shown any symptoms. We have introduced a range of precautionary measures in order to minimise the risk of any transmission both in-house and on location.
What is Active Photographic doing in house?
The biggest and most important step we have done in house is to give the capability for all our staff to work from home. This includes, adapting our usual style of face to face meetings, and instead our sales staff are now either videoing or calling schools instead in order to minimise contact.
We have taken this further, in line with guidance from the authorities we have increases the frequency of cleaning and the focus on hygiene throughout the building. Our staff have all been provided with hand sanitisers, tissues and disinfectant products in order to allow them to keep their personal work spaces as clean as possible both on premise and those working at home.
As a team, we are united in our endeavours to work together to ensure the health of each and every colleague, promoting safety and wellbeing above all else.
If you have been looking forward to seeing us at an event in the coming weeks, unfortunately we have made the decisions to postpone any bookings of large groups or networking events taking place in our conference space. We apologise for any inconvenience.
How is Active Photographic helping safety when coming in to our schools?
Of course we are taking guidance from the authorities to help inform us of any changes or closures to schools that may occur.
All our photographers have been provided with hand sanitisers, tissues and disinfectant products in order to allow them to keep clean as possible to help minimise any risk.
We have adapted our lighting in order to increase the distance away from the pupils in our studios. Along with this we have enforced a strict no contact of any kind rule with the photographers to any one else onsite at a school, (no hand shakes or holding children hands to help guide them in to place).
We have provided our photographers with their own travel mugs/ water in order to reduce the need to go to the staff room/ communal areas during any breaks.
If you need anything let us know. Our business depends on your business and we must all pull together during the next few weeks.
